India's Largest Crude Explorer, ONGC, to Set Up Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh with Rs 70,000 Crore Investment

 


The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), India’s largest crude oil explorer, has announced plans to establish a refinery and petrochemical complex in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This major infrastructure project will involve an investment of Rs 70,000 crore. The refinery is expected to significantly boost industrial activity in the region, generate employment, and contribute to the local economy.

The complex will focus on refining crude oil and producing a wide range of petrochemical products, catering to both domestic and international markets. This initiative aligns with the Indian government’s vision of fostering energy security and advancing industrial growth.
