Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the UAE and India in the Field of Polar Research
In a significant move to strengthen their strategic partnership, the UAE and India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing scientific cooperation in the field of polar research. This agreement underscores the two nations' shared commitment to advancing global knowledge and addressing pressing environmental challenges. The MoU was formalized during the 15th session of the UAE-India Joint Committee, with the UAE Polar Program and the Indian National Centre for Arctic and Ocean Research (NCPOR) coming together to facilitate academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and capacity-building in polar sciences.
