  The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a new FASTag-based annual pass priced at ₹3,000, set to be implemented from August 15, 2025. This pass will allow users up to 200 toll transactions per year across the national highway network.  The initiative aims to provide greater convenience and cost savings for frequent travelers, while promoting digital toll payments and easing congestion at toll plazas.

  The Indian government is planning to introduce an ‘annual toll pass’ for ₹3,000, allowing unlimited highway travel for a year. Additionally, a ‘lifetime pass’ will be available for ₹30,000, offering unrestricted access for 15 years. This move aims to simplify toll payments, reduce congestion at toll plazas, and promote seamless travel across national highways.
