G42 Unveils NANDA: A Breakthrough Hindi LLM at UAE-India Business Forum in Mumbai
G42, a leading technology holding group based in the UAE, has announced the upcoming launch of NANDA, a pioneering Hindi Large Language Model (LLM), during the UAE-India Business Forum in Mumbai. The announcement was made in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, during his state visit to India. NANDA, a 13-billion parameter model trained on 2.13 trillion tokens of language datasets, including Hindi, aims to revolutionize AI for India’s Hindi-speaking population. The model’s name is inspired by one of India’s highest peaks, symbolizing its potential to uplift the Hindi language within the AI landscape. The model is a result of collaboration between Inception (a G42 company), Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and Cerebras Systems.
