₹34,000 Cr Invested in UP Defence Corridor: Rajnath Singh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced that investments worth over ₹34,000 crore have already been made across the nodes of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, marking a major milestone in India’s push for defence self-reliance. The corridor, spread across key locations in the state, is emerging as a strategic hub for manufacturing defence equipment, weapons systems, and advanced technologies. Singh said the growing investment reflects strong confidence from both public and private sector players, including MSMEs and startups, in India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.
