Telangana to Introduce AI in Primary School Curriculum

In a groundbreaking move, Telangana is set to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the primary school curriculum, making it one of the first states in India to do so. The initiative aims to equip young students with foundational AI knowledge, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills from an early age.

The state government, in collaboration with educational and tech organizations, plans to integrate AI concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. The curriculum will cover basic AI principles, ethical considerations, and hands-on activities to spark curiosity in young minds.

Education officials believe that early exposure to AI will help students adapt to the rapidly evolving technological landscape and prepare them for future careers in AI-driven industries. This initiative aligns with Telangana’s vision to become a hub for AI innovation and digital education.

By introducing AI at the primary level, Telangana is setting a precedent for other states, ensuring that the next generation is well-prepared for the digital age.
