‘Misguiding people’: Rajasthan CM slams BJP over Pulwama martyrs' widows protest

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly "misguiding people" over the protest by Pulwama martyrs' widows. The protest was held by a group of women who lost their husbands in the Pulwama terror attack in 2019, demanding justice and compensation from the government.

The protest took a political turn when some members of the BJP accused the Congress government in Rajasthan of not providing adequate support to the widows. However, Chief Minister Gehlot has refuted these claims and accused the BJP of playing politics with the issue. In a tweet, he stated that the state government had provided all possible support to the widows and that the BJP was "misguiding people" for political gains.

The Pulwama terror attack, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel, remains one of the deadliest attacks in recent times. The widows of the martyrs have been demanding justice and compensation from the government, and their protest is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers and their families.

However, the politicization of the issue is unfortunate and takes away from the real concerns of the widows.
