ISRO Launches Advanced Navigation Satellite GSLV-F12 and NVS-01

 

In yet another significant achievement, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched its advanced navigation satellite, GSLV-F12, along with the Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) Satellite (NVS-01). The launch took place on a sunny morning at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

The GSLV-F12, a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle, has proven to be a reliable workhorse for ISRO over the years. This mission marks another successful addition to its impressive track record. The GSLV-F12 carried the NVS-01, which is part of the prestigious NavIC system, India's own indigenous satellite navigation constellation.
