UAE Continues Its Humanitarian Mission: Welcomes 15th Group of Wounded Palestinian Children and Cancer Patients

In a display of unwavering solidarity and humanitarian commitment, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) welcomed the 15th group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients on Friday. This initiative, in accordance with the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to provide crucial medical treatment for 1,000 injured children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip.

Departing from Al Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the aircraft touched down at Zayed International Airport, carrying 27 patients in critical need of medical assistance, accompanied by 60 family members. Upon arrival, dedicated medical teams swiftly transferred the wounded to hospitals for urgent treatment, while others were taken to the Emirates Humanitarian City, ensuring they receive the care and support they require.

Gratitude poured from the relatives of the patients, who expressed heartfelt thanks to the UAE and its visionary leadership for this noble humanitarian endeavor. They hailed the initiative as a shining example of solidarity and support among sisterly nations, emphasizing the UAE's swift response and unwavering commitment to standing by Palestinians during challenging times.

The tireless efforts of medical and volunteer teams were also lauded, underscoring their invaluable support throughout the patients' journey. Since the inception of the crisis, the UAE has remained a steadfast supporter of Gaza, launching "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" to provide vital humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, the UAE's commitment extends beyond mere words, as evidenced by the establishment of a 150-bed field hospital in Gaza and the Floating Hospital in Al Arish port. These facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology, laboratories, pharmacies, and medical cabinets, ensuring comprehensive care for those in need.

As the UAE continues to extend its hand in solidarity, it reaffirms its unwavering commitment to alleviating the suffering of Palestinians and fostering hope in the region. Through such initiatives, the UAE exemplifies the true spirit of compassion and humanity, serving as a beacon of hope for those in distress.
