Epsilon Advanced Materials to Invest Rs 9,000 Crore in Anode Plant in Karnataka

Epsilon Advanced Materials, a leading battery materials manufacturer, is set to make a significant investment of Rs 9,000 crore to establish an anode manufacturing plant in Karnataka. This ambitious project aligns with India’s growing push toward renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) adoption, as anodes are a critical component of lithium-ion batteries.

The planned facility will boost India’s domestic battery production capacity, reducing reliance on imports and contributing to the global supply chain for EV batteries. It’s also expected to generate employment and foster technological innovation within the state’s manufacturing sector.
