Massive Investment in Noida: IKEA and Ingka Group’s ₹5,500 Crore Project

 


Swedish furniture giant IKEA, in collaboration with its parent company, the Ingka Group, is making a significant investment in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The companies are committing nearly ₹5,500 crore to establish their second “meeting place” in India. This new facility will follow their first location in Hyderabad, blending retail, entertainment, and food into a comprehensive experience.

The announcement was made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who expressed confidence in the project’s potential to boost economic growth and job creation in the region. With this venture, Noida is set to become a major retail and lifestyle destination, drawing not only residents but also visitors from across the country.

This massive investment highlights Noida’s growing importance as a business and commercial hub, aligning with the government’s vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a leading state for global investment.
