Uttar Pradesh Government Announces Four New Expressways in Budget 2024

 


The Uttar Pradesh government has unveiled plans for the construction of four new expressways in this year’s budget, aiming to enhance connectivity and boost economic growth in the state. The newly announced projects include:

  1. Vindhya Expressway – This expressway will significantly improve connectivity in the Vindhya region, fostering development and reducing travel time.
  2. Ganga Expressway Extension – The extension of the Ganga Expressway will further strengthen road networks, making transportation more efficient.
  3. Bundelkhand Rewa Expressway – This expressway will link Bundelkhand with Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, improving trade and travel between the two states.
  4. Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Ganga Expressway – A direct connection between these major expressways will enhance accessibility and facilitate faster movement of goods and people.

These projects reflect the government's commitment to infrastructure development, promoting investment and regional progress in Uttar Pradesh.
