India has made a significant breakthrough in its energy sector with the discovery of new oil deposits in the Arabian Sea, near the Konkan region of Maharashtra. This discovery, led by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), could potentially enhance the country's domestic oil production and reduce its dependence on imports.
