Madhya Pradesh to Develop 800 MW Solar Park with Unique Six-Month Alternating Power Supply to Uttar Pradesh

 


Madhya Pradesh is set to establish an 800 MW solar park with an innovative power-sharing agreement benefiting Uttar Pradesh. Under this arrangement, the generated electricity will be supplied alternately every six months between the two states.

This pioneering initiative aims to optimize power distribution and enhance grid stability. The project aligns with India’s renewable energy goals and promotes inter-state cooperation. Madhya Pradesh, known for its solar potential, continues to lead in clean energy production, while Uttar Pradesh stands to benefit from a steady power supply.

With this strategic partnership, both states move closer to energy security and sustainability.
