UP's ₹50,000 Cr Expressway Push to Boost Connectivity

Uttar Pradesh is set to transform its infrastructure landscape with a massive investment of nearly ₹50,000 crore in seven new expressway projects over the next 2-3 years. The move is part of the state government’s ambitious plan to enhance connectivity, accelerate economic growth, and attract investments.

These expressways will not only link key industrial and agricultural regions but also reduce travel time and improve logistics efficiency. Officials believe the projects will create thousands of jobs and give a big push to regional development.

With this initiative, UP aims to become a national leader in expressway infrastructure, following the success of projects like the Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressways.
