India's Longest Ropeway to Link Dehradun and Mussoorie by 2026

 

India is set to unveil its longest passenger ropeway, connecting Dehradun to the popular hill station of Mussoorie, by September 2026. Spanning over 5.5 kilometers, the ropeway promises to cut down travel time from over an hour by road to just 15 minutes.

This state-of-the-art project aims to ease traffic congestion, promote eco-friendly tourism, and offer scenic aerial views of the Shivalik range. With modern cabins and safety features, it is expected to become a major attraction for both tourists and locals.
