Karnataka Bags India’s First Private Helicopter Assembly Facility

 


Karnataka is set to become home to India’s first private helicopter assembly line. Airbus, in collaboration with Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), will establish a final assembly facility for the H125 helicopter in Kolar district.

This landmark initiative marks a major step forward in India’s defense and aerospace manufacturing capabilities. The facility will handle the full assembly, testing, and delivery of the popular H125 helicopter, widely used for civilian and law enforcement purposes.

The project strengthens the 'Make in India' mission and positions Karnataka as a key player in high-tech aerospace production.
