Tesla Eyes Satara for New EV Assembly Plant

Tesla is reportedly scouting land parcels in Satara, Maharashtra, to establish an electric vehicle (EV) assembly plant. This move aligns with the company’s broader plans to expand its presence in India, tapping into the growing demand for sustainable transportation.

Satara, known for its strategic location and infrastructure connectivity, could serve as a key hub for Tesla’s manufacturing and distribution operations in the region. If finalized, the project may boost local employment and accelerate EV adoption in the country.
