Uttar Pradesh Witnesses Record 725.12 Lakh Metric Tonnes of Food Grain Production in 2024–25; CM Hails the Farmers
In a historic achievement, Uttar Pradesh has recorded an all-time high food grain production of 725.12 lakh metric tonnes for the agricultural year 2024-25. This milestone marks a significant leap in the state's agricultural output, showcasing the resilience and hard work of its farmers.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded the farming community for their dedication and contribution to the state's food security. He attributed the success to timely government support, improved irrigation facilities, availability of quality seeds, and farmers' adoption of modern techniques.
“This record-breaking production is a testament to the strength of our farmers and the effectiveness of our agricultural policies,” the Chief Minister stated.
The achievement places Uttar Pradesh firmly as a leader in India’s agrarian landscape, reflecting both productivity and policy effectiveness.
