Daikin Aims to Make India Its Top Global Hub by 2030

Japanese air-conditioning giant Daikin is planning a major expansion in India, aiming to double its manufacturing capacity by 2030. The move is part of the company’s strategy to position India as its largest global manufacturing hub.

Daikin has already invested significantly in India, with two plants in Rajasthan and a third mega facility under development in Andhra Pradesh. The expansion will support growing domestic demand and make India a key export base for the company’s global markets.

The company’s long-term vision aligns with the Indian government’s "Make in India" initiative and highlights the country’s rising importance in global supply chains.
