Noida’s Raphe mPhibr Secures Record $100 Million Funding

In a landmark development for India’s aerospace and defence sector, Noida-based startup Raphe mPhibr has raised $100 million in funding — the largest private capital round ever secured by an Indian aircraft manufacturer.

The funding underscores investor confidence in indigenous innovation and defence technology, especially as India pushes for greater self-reliance under its Atmanirbhar Bharat mission. Raphe mPhibr specializes in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and next-generation propulsion systems.

Company officials stated that the funds will be used to scale production, invest in R&D, and expand its presence in global defence markets. The milestone signals a turning point in India’s private aerospace landscape, traditionally dominated by public-sector giants.
