UP to Build ₹700-Crore EV Manufacturing Park in Kanpur

 


In a major boost to India’s electric vehicle (EV) industry, Uttar Pradesh is set to develop a ₹700-crore EV manufacturing park over 500 acres in Kanpur. The ambitious project, led by the UP Industrial Development Authority, aims to attract global and domestic EV makers, component manufacturers, and battery producers. 

The park will offer world-class infrastructure, incentives, and plug-and-play facilities to fast-track investments. With this initiative, Uttar Pradesh seeks to position Kanpur as a hub for clean mobility, generate thousands of jobs, and accelerate the state’s shift toward sustainable transportation.
