HD Hyundai, Cochin Shipyard Sign MoU to Boost Maritime Ties

 


South Korea’s HD Hyundai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s largest shipbuilder, Cochin Shipyard Limited, to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the maritime sector. The agreement aims to facilitate technology transfer, joint development of eco-friendly ships, and exploration of global shipbuilding markets. This strategic partnership is expected to enhance India’s shipbuilding capabilities while deepening Indo-Korean industrial collaboration in the blue economy.
