Tesla Opens First India Showroom in Mumbai’s BKC

Tesla has officially entered the Indian automobile market with the launch of its first showroom at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. This marks a significant milestone as the electric vehicle (EV) giant sets its sights on the world’s third-largest automobile market.

The showroom is expected to serve as a key hub for showcasing Tesla’s electric offerings and building brand presence in India. With this move, Tesla is gearing up to compete not only with global luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz and BMW but also with homegrown EV players such as Tata Motors and Mahindra.
