Delhi to have 6,000 electric buses by end of this year

The Delhi government has announced that the national capital will have 6,000 electric buses on its roads by the end of this year. This move aims to boost eco-friendly public transport, reduce vehicular emissions, and improve air quality in the city.

Currently, Delhi has one of the largest fleets of electric buses in India, and the expansion is expected to significantly cut pollution levels while providing citizens with cleaner and more sustainable travel options.
