India Dominates Global Real-Time Payments with 50% Share via UPI: PM Modi

 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India now accounts for 50% of global real-time payment transactions by volume, driven by the success of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

He emphasized that this achievement reflects India’s leadership in digital infrastructure and its potential to shape the future of global fintech innovations.
