Philippines Grants Visa-Free Entry to Indians from October

 


In a major boost to bilateral ties and tourism, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has announced that Indian citizens will be granted visa-free entry to the Philippines starting October. The move is part of a broader initiative to strengthen people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.

Alongside this announcement, direct flights between India and the Philippines are set to resume, making travel more accessible and convenient. Officials confirmed that both countries are in the final stages of formalizing reciprocal agreements, paving the way for smoother movement of travelers and potential business collaborations.

The decision is expected to enhance trade, tourism, and cultural connectivity, while also signaling a new chapter in India-Philippines relations.
