India Eyes $30 Trillion Economy by 2047

 


Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said that India is on track to become one of the world’s top three economies by 2047, when the country celebrates 100 years of independence. He projected India’s economy to touch the $30 trillion mark by then, driven by rapid industrial growth, digital innovation, robust infrastructure development, and a young workforce. Goyal highlighted that government reforms, global investments, and expanding manufacturing under initiatives like Make in India will play a key role in positioning the nation as a global economic powerhouse.
