Vande Bharat Sleeper to Debut in Bihar by September End

India’s much-awaited first Vande Bharat sleeper train is likely to roll out by the end of September, with Bihar expected to host its debut journey. The state-of-the-art train, designed to provide speed, comfort, and overnight travel convenience, marks a major milestone in Indian Railways’ modernization drive. Unlike the existing chair-car Vande Bharat trains, the sleeper variant will feature upgraded berths, modern interiors, advanced safety systems, and improved passenger amenities.

Railway officials suggest that the train will cater to long-distance travelers, especially those journeying overnight between Bihar and other states. This rollout is seen as a strategic move to boost connectivity, reduce travel time, and enhance passenger experience. If launched on schedule, it will be a significant addition to India’s premium train network, aligning with the vision of transforming rail travel across the country.
