Asia's Largest Hospital to Rise in Pune, Named After Lata Mangeshkar

 


The Maharashtra government has announced plans to build Asia’s largest hospital in Pune, which will be named after the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

The project aims to create a world-class healthcare hub, offering advanced medical facilities and research opportunities. With a vision to serve millions, the hospital will strengthen Maharashtra’s healthcare infrastructure and stand as a tribute to the “Nightingale of India.”

Officials highlighted that the institution will not only cater to patients from across India but also position Pune as a key destination for medical tourism in Asia.
