Google to Invest $15 Billion in AI Hub in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

 


Tech giant Google has announced a landmark $15 billion investment to establish a cutting-edge AI Hub in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to strengthen India’s position as a global leader in artificial intelligence research, innovation, and digital infrastructure.

CEO Sundar Pichai personally briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the project, outlining plans to create thousands of high-skilled jobs and support AI-driven startups across the region.

The Vishakapatnam hub will focus on AI ethics, sustainable tech, and digital skilling, aligning with the government’s Digital India and Make in India missions. The move is seen as one of the largest foreign tech investments in India’s emerging tech sector, signaling a new era of collaboration between Silicon Valley and Indian innovation.
