Amaravati, the planned capital city of Andhra Pradesh, is set to receive a major boost with Malaysian firms announcing investment plans worth up to ₹10,000 crore over the next five years. The investments will focus on infrastructure, housing, and smart city development projects aimed at reviving Amaravati’s long-delayed urban vision.

Officials said the Malaysian consortium is exploring partnerships with local developers and the Andhra Pradesh government to establish industrial parks, logistics hubs, and sustainable urban facilities. The move is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and position Amaravati as a key investment destination in South India.
