The company, known for its Vikram series of launch vehicles, aims to boost India’s presence in the global space economy by offering affordable and flexible satellite launch options. 

This milestone marks a major step in the country’s growing private space sector, following policy reforms that opened the industry to private players. Skyroot’s upcoming mission is expected to demonstrate India’s readiness for a new era of commercial space innovation and private sector leadership.
