UK Announces ₹4,154 Crore Defense Deal with India for Lightweight Multirole Missiles

 


The United Kingdom has announced a new defense agreement with India valued at ₹4,154 crore to supply advanced Lightweight Multirole Missiles (LMMs). The missiles will be manufactured at the Thales facility in Belfast, reinforcing defense cooperation between the two nations. This landmark deal marks a significant step in strengthening India’s defense modernization efforts and the UK’s strategic defense exports. The LMMs, known for their precision and versatility, will enhance India’s naval and aerial strike capabilities, underscoring the deepening defense and industrial ties between New Delhi and London.
