Amaravati Set for Major Boost with Proposed 5,000-Acre International Airport

Andhra Pradesh is preparing for a major infrastructure leap as the state plans a massive 5,000-acre international airport in its new capital, Amaravati. The proposed project aims to enhance global connectivity, support economic expansion, and strengthen the capital’s long-term development vision.

Designed to handle large passenger volumes and modern cargo needs, the airport is expected to attract investments, boost tourism, and improve regional accessibility. If approved and executed as planned, the Amaravati International Airport could become one of India’s largest aviation hubs, positioning the capital as a significant gateway for both domestic and international travel.
