Gujarat's Chip Dream Nears Reality

 


Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that three semiconductor plants in Gujarat are now in the final stages before production begins. 

The state is fast emerging as India’s semiconductor hub, with projects in Dholera and Sanand advancing ahead of schedule. Vaishnaw emphasized that India’s entry into chip manufacturing will boost electronics exports, jobs, and tech self-reliance.
