Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced that hydrogen-powered vehicles will soon be introduced in Odisha as part of India’s push toward cleaner and sustainable mobility. Speaking at a public event, Gadkari emphasized the government’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting green energy alternatives. He highlighted hydrogen as the “fuel of the future,” capable of transforming the nation’s transport sector. The upcoming rollout in Odisha is expected to serve as a pilot initiative, showcasing India’s progress in adopting eco-friendly transport technologies.
