Foxconn Expands iPhone Assembly in Karnataka

Foxconn has hired around 30,000 employees for its new iPhone assembly facility in Devanahalli, near Bengaluru, marking a major expansion of Apple’s manufacturing footprint in India.

The large-scale recruitment highlights the rapid progress of the unit, which is expected to play a key role in assembling next-generation iPhones for both domestic and global markets. The move strengthens Karnataka’s position as a growing electronics manufacturing hub and aligns with India’s broader push to become a global alternative in smartphone production and supply chains.
