Tata Electronics has announced plans to roll out its first semiconductor chip from its upcoming manufacturing plant in Dholera, Gujarat, by mid-2027. This marks a significant step in India’s push toward self-reliance in the semiconductor sector.

The Dholera facility will focus on advanced chip production to cater to both domestic and global technology markets. Tata Electronics aims to boost local manufacturing capabilities, reduce import dependence, and support India’s growing electronics and technology industries.

This initiative is expected to create thousands of jobs and strengthen India’s position in the global semiconductor supply chain.
