₹1,750 Cr NTR Statue Planned in Amaravati

 


The Andhra Pradesh government is planning to construct a grand statue of legendary actor and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) in Amaravati with an estimated investment of ₹1,750 crore. 

The proposed monument is envisioned as a major cultural and tourism landmark, celebrating NTR’s lasting legacy in cinema, public life, and Telugu pride. Officials say the project will also include surrounding infrastructure and public spaces, aimed at boosting tourism and reinforcing Amaravati’s identity as the state capital.
