Tata Power's ₹6,675 Crore Green Push in Andhra Pradesh

 


Tata Power has announced plans to set up a massive 10 GW manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of ₹6,675 crore, marking a major boost to India’s renewable energy ecosystem. The project is expected to focus on clean energy manufacturing, strengthening domestic capacity in line with the country’s energy transition goals.

The proposed facility is likely to generate significant employment opportunities and attract ancillary industries, supporting Andhra Pradesh’s vision of becoming a renewable energy and manufacturing hub. Local infrastructure development and skill creation are also expected to benefit from the investment.
